DORITOS® Spicy Nacho Flavored Dip

A Slightly Spicy Queso

Doritos Spicy Nacho Flavored dip is a new(?) Doritos flavored queso offering. I enjoy both Doritos and queso dip so I was pretty excited to give this product a try.

Doritos Spicy Nacho Flavored Dip comes in a 10z resembles an oversized tin of chewing tobacco, or perhaps a can of sterno. It’s not the most appetizing presentation compared to the classic jarred offerings from Tostitos, but it’s what’s on the inside that counts.

The dip looks perfectly smooth here, but that is misleading. It has chunks of peppers, and what I think were tomatoes. They added a bit of textural variety that I appreciated. The Doritos Spicy Nacho Flavored Dip doesn’t really taste like Doritos instead it’s flavor profile is much closer to a traditional queso dip. The Doritos dip was a bit spicier than “Tostitos Salsa con Queso Medium”, but I’m not sure if I could tell them apart in a blind taste test.

Overall the Doritos Spicy Nacho Flavored Dip was fine, but I wouldn’t go out of your way to get it.
